Looking at driver details in device manager the same driver is used for both controllers. As this thread has been quiet for a while, we assume that the issue has been resolved. Before moving on, please remove the Windows bit driver since it is not designed for Windows Vista. addaptec

Windows Vista IT Pro. I tried using the signed bit drivers and the device would start. Can anybody at MS help or know what to do about this?? Given the situation, I suggest you contact Adaptec Support to double check whether this product support Windows Vista.
