Samuel A Mungujakisa Mar 25, I wasted hours trying to perform the normal repair operation, and when at last I eaid to backup the data and format the hard disk, Windows repaired the errors on the disk, and I booted so perfectly that I only did a few disk cleanups and virus checks to justify the long time I took working on it.

I have no floppy drive on any of the laptops or desktops I have. I have gone to IBM’s site, got updated drivers and then stopped dead in my tracks, there is no floppy drive on this system.
No problem at all, please post back if that helps you out. Ibj am looking for any help I can get here. I dont have usb or any other type of floppy drive for the F6 driver installation.

On Friday, September 21, 6: Ikram Abid Mar 24, Vista works as well, and I’ve not yet tried 7. You may not need to repair or reinstall. Another option is windoqs create a installation disk with integrated drivers. OK thats good enough for the new installation.
