Back to Laptops forum 20 total posts. Check “connect automatically when this network is in range” and “connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name” and make sure “connect to a more preffered network if available” is unchecked.
Uninstall the device and reboot. Windows may discover new hardware upon reboot. Next, goto device manager and find the Antheros wifi adapter.

I’ve kept this little baby in the drawer for a long time, thinking I’d never be able to use it for anything but note-taking, so I’m overjoyed to have it working. Been messing around with this little netbook for weeks trying to get the wifi to work.
Running XP, it booted in an acceptable 42 seconds. There was no issues with the install and everything worked great for a month and then it started going in to deep hibernation. Very clear instructions, thanks a bunch! I had reinstall XP with no success, but, with this aoa105, all my wireless problems were solved.
After installing Windows 7, it was like night and day. Thank you for helping us maintain CNET’s great community. And installing from a USB-stick is no different from installing from your hard disk.
