Hi ipaul try this driver it for sound max onboard Vista 32 bit Drivers and Downloads at may be a shot in the r520 Good Luck sorry for the other post. I checked Dell’s site and it doesn’t appear they’re offering device drivers for this computer for an OS other than XP.

Try installing the Win XP drivers this way. When I click on the MMOC, it states there is no driver and it doesn’t even give me the option to devicw for one.

Hi ipaul This may be a wild ddevice in the dark but try this driver its for a sound max. You could purchase a soundcard that is Win 7 compatible and install that.
