Is it installed correctly? You say you’re not getting sound from Windows Media Player – but are you getting anything the speakers otherwise? I have many folders and files that are not hidden files in my inf directory. There IS one other thing to check. To install something in compatibility mode, you would right click on the install program, choose ‘properties’ and then find the ‘compatibility’ tab. This has only happened since I upgraded to Windows 7!
