The only problem I had was that I had to unload the rt73usb kernel module and then reinsert the adapter to get the kernel module to load and to get the rausb0 interface to be created. When everything is done and working, you plug in the adapter and an interface called rasusb0 is automatically created. Using ndiswrapper, could not load. However, is the connection with ethernet some how blocking the wlan0 from even showing up? Following downloads and install, you should be up and running note: There is no driver for Linux, but Windows. Save my name, email, and website in lunux browser for the next time I comment.

Thanks for the visit anyway! Couldn’t get any of the windows drivers from linksys. Then just reboot and run “gksudo network-admin” in console and configure eth0.

Now Im at the point of not knowing how to dis-install all these unwanted ver.33, and still getting no-where fast in making my dongle work ok. Thank you in advance!

When you get the grub menu, select the newly installed kernel.
