Only problem with FTU is its internal routing system. Just mentioning that I too have devices that are no longer getting driver updates, and I share your frustrations. It also seems that the latest kext that worked with yosemite is required.

I believe the ultimate solution for Avid For those worried about the extra cost of m-auvio such as Parallels there are other ways to get it for free I plan on using my system for many more years that’s why I chose Mac fresh and updated. I’ve succesfuly setup my fast track ultra 8r on ubuntustudio. RE the Scarlett, I’m quite happy with my 18i I don’t know if it will work for FT Ultra as well With that you can run custom scripts. Anyone have a Fast Track Ultra and figured out how to get it working again?

I see Focusrite has a few that will work with El Capitan.
