Aug 27, Thanks for those tips Paul! Technically also a bookstore, Hub City Bookshop, it is equidistant from my home as Malaprops, just in a different direction. Miceopress Chris Abani was dropped by FSG after his first novel GraceLand and moved to small presses–I don’t know him or the circumstances but I imagine it’s because he got too ‘experimental’ for this supposedly literary press. I really want the new Leonora Carrington collection they’ve published but I’m afraid to go and look at it because then I’m going to get more.
